I've tried completely uninstalling Steam client, but even after installing it again from scratch, it still doesn't detect my controller wirelessly. I've been trying to find solutions everywhere, but I haven't found a solution for it. So, if it works with my Windows 7 and other games, outside of Steam, it is not a drivers problem and something within Steam client must be causing the problem. And in control panel, the configuration of the buttons/analogic pads are detected perfectly fine. I have tried playing games outside of Steam, and IT WORKS with other PC games and emulators, both wirelessly and USB. Big picture mode doesn't detect it wirelessly (but does with USB). It does detect it via USB, and I can play fine with USB wire. The games played fine without any trouble.īut for the past two months, after one of Steam updates of June (can't exactly remember which update or when it was), Steam doesn't recognize my controller wirelessly anymore. My apologies if I created this in the wrong forum (please move thread to where it belongs if so), or if this has been asked previously.įor the past years, I've been using my Xbox One controller wirelessly via Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows, without any problems, on my Windows 7 64bit OS.
